Flatbread Italian Sausage Tacos are a delicious fusion of Italian and Mexican cuisines, featuring flavorful Polidori Italian sausage. These unique tacos offer a delightful blend of savory and zesty flavors, making them a fun and satisfying twist on traditional tacos.

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Polidori Italian Sausage
  • 1 each Red, yellow, and orange bell peppers diced
  • 1 whole Onion diced
  • 8 whole round flatbread (2 packages)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
  • Dice peppers and onions
  • Strip Rope sausage from casing
  • In sauté pan cook sausage and crumble
  • When halfway cooked add pepper’s and onions (olive oil if desired)
  • Heat a cookie sheet in oven on broil. Place flat bread on sheet, flipping after 1 minute until warm.
  • Place sausage and pepper mixture inside flatbread.
  • Add mozzarella cheese, pizza seasoning, or your choice of flavor as desired. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 half Onion Diced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic Minced
  • 4 links Polidori Hot Italian Sausage Casings removed
  • 4 whole Tortillas
  • 10 whole Fresh Basil leaves Roughly chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup Roasted red peppers Sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
Directions:
  • Remove casings from Italian sausage.
  • Cook garlic on skillet with olive oil on medium high heat. Brown for 20 seconds then add onion. Stir, cover and sauté for 1-2 min.
  • Add sausage to onions and break into crumbles. Cook until brown (7-8 min)
  • When cooked, remove mixture from pan and drain grease.
  • Heat skillet medium high and spray with cooking spray.
  • Place tortilla in skillet with mozzarella cheese, sausage onion mix, roasted pepper slices, basil leaves, and more mozzarella. Top with another tortilla and spray with cooking oil.
  • Cook for 1-2 min and flip.
  • Serve: Slice each into four pieces using knife and serve with heated marinara sauce.

  • 1 lb Polidori Italian Sausage Bulk
  • 1 whole Green Bell Pepper diced
  • 1 whole Yellow Bell Pepper diced
  • 1 jar Pasta sauce
  • 1 package Hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
Directions:
  • Strip Sausage from casing and place in pan
  • Cut (Dice) Peppers and onions
  • Cook sausage 50% making sure you dice the meat while cooking
  • Add onions and peppers. Cook until sausage, onions, and peppers are fully cooked.
  • Warm Buns, When ready add sausage and mozzarella cheese as desired.
