Ingredients:
- 1 lbs Polidori Sausage Bratwurst Links or Beer Bratwurst
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
- Ed McCaffrey’s Rocky Mountain Mustard, for serving
Directions:
- Preheat oven: Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Cook the brats: Grill or pan-sear until cooked through and perfectly browned, about 10–12 minutes. Let cool slightly, then cut into halves or thirds.Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2-inch strips.Wrap the brats: Place a brat piece on one end of a strip and roll it up snugly. Seal the edge with egg wash.Brush and bake: Arrange the seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.Slice and serve: Once slightly cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces and serve warm, accompanied by plenty of Rocky Mountain Mustard for dipping.
